Privacy Policy

Introduction

Nippon Inorganic Colour & Chemical Co., Ltd. (Company, hereafter) pays due respect to the privacy of everyone who uses www.muki.co.jp (the company site, hereafter). Company has announced in a written form the privacy policy to clearly show what Company thinks of privacy and how customer information compiled from the company site is used, shared, and handled.

Collection and Utilization of Information

Personally Identifiable Information

Company may ask customers to provide information leading to their identification (Personally Identifiable Information; PII, hereafter) when they use the company site. The request is made when PII is necessary for providing service they want or for their convenience in using the company site. The PII includes the names, addresses, e-mail addresses, and telephone numbers of the customers.

Whether to provide PII to the company site is left to the judgment by the customers. However, when a customer declines to provide some PII, the customer may not be able to access some promotion contents or product information.

Handling of PII

1.Use of PII

PII provided by a customer to Company is only used to "provide Company information and technical service to the customer" and "communicate with the customer."

2.Management of PII

PII given to Company is properly managed to prevent loss or leak.

3.Disclosure of PII

Company shall not provide or disclose the information to any third parties except for the following cases:

• When it is required by law or necessary to protect the rights and assets of Company.
• When a secrecy agreement has been signed with a provider of outside service to keep the service provider from using PII for purposes other than the jobs singed for.
• When customers agree to disclosure.

Application of Privacy Policy

Company considers that the use of the company site means agreement with the privacy policy and the terms of service of Company. Those who have not agreed should not use the company site. In addition, when Company revises the privacy policy without an advance notice in the future, Company considers that customers have agreed to the revised privacy policy for the use of the company site after the revision.

Revision of Privacy Policy

Company may revise the privacy policy without an advance notice to meet revisions of law or for other reasons. The latest privacy policy will always apply to PII given by customers. Whatever revisions are made, such revisions will be published on the company site.
